In honor of the beginning of autumn, I asked several EPG students and staff what they love about the season. Here’s what they had to say.
Alyssa Sturgeon, Junior: I love how the tree leaves fall and the way they turn different colors. Halloween is my favorite because I like the spookiness.
Mya Griffin, Junior: I love pumpkin chai, a tasty drink from Java.
Mrs. Ferrenburg, Freshman English: I love watching the leaves change colors, but I don’t like raking them.
Mrs. Craig, Office Secretary: I love the comfy temperatures, football, and pumpkin patches.
Jayvion Maxon, Junior: I enjoy football season and rooting for the Baltimore Ravens.
Caroline Quam, Senior: I love the fall scents, specifically the Pumpkin Pie Waffle scent from Bath & Body Works.
Penelope Miller, Sophomore: I enjoy the change in weather and the opportunity to wear sweaters.
Max Swaney, Sophomore: I get nostalgia. I want to jump into leaves like the old days.
Jasper Wenger, Junior: I like the scenery of fall and the spookiness that comes with it.
Che’von Maxon and Keaton Malcom, Sophomores: We love Halloween and the CANDY! Specifically, Skittles and Jolly Rancher Gummies.
