NF is an American rapper who raps about his personal life and tries to be relatable to his fans, hence the slogan “Real Music.” He claims that his music is “free therapy” and tries to help others struggling through his music. While often labeled as a Christian rapper, NF states, “I’m a Christian, but I don’t make Christian music. You’re not going to reach everyone with just one point of view. I write about things I’m actually dealing with. You don’t have to be Christian to relate to them.” According to Techloy, an online media site, his latest album Fear has become the most pre-saved hip-hop release and had 540k presaves. Here is my ranking of each song on Fear with a short description.

In my opinion, this album was kind of a let-down compared to The Search and Hope. It is different than his other albums and is more sad pop than rap. Many fans are divided over this, with some liking his softer songs while others prefer his hard rap style. Even though this isn’t his best album, some songs still hit hard, such as “Sorry” and “Give Me a Reason.” Whether you are a fan of NF or not, I still recommend listening to this album because it’s a great way to expand your music library and you might discover something new.
