Nom Nom Noodles is a ramen restaurant in Bloomington (1006 E Lincoln St) that opened in January 2023. The restaurant is open Tuesdays through Saturdays from 11 am to 4 pm. Nom Nom Noodles offers a large selection of dishes, ranging from ramen to potstickers and even sandwiches, to name a few. Recently, I have gone to Nom Nom Noodles with an individual who goes there weekly to review this fine establishment. We ordered one Pork Belly and one Chicken Ramen Bowl, one Birria with rice noodles for those who want a gluten-free option, and one side of pork pot stickers.
The restaurant’s decor is limited, and the tables and chairs are pretty basic, but there is an undeniable sense of authenticity you wouldn’t get at a McDonald’s or other fast-food places. The wait time for food is very short, and even with a large group, you will rarely have to wait even half an hour for your food to arrive. The music, while a bit strange, is almost guaranteed not to be the same as the last time you visited, and it can range from country to late 80s rock and roll.
Speaking of which, the food is absolutely delicious. The Chicken Ramen Bowl has savory chicken and high-quality noodles, not to mention a beautifully marinated egg on top. The Pork Belly Ramen Bowl practically melts in your mouth and comes with ingredients like mushrooms and scallions. The Birria is a spicy dish consisting of beef topped with a delightfully crunchy taquito. The pork pot stickers were a delicious blend of sweet and savory, with the pork mixing with the sweet dough, as well as being coated in honey soy sauce and Thai chili sauce. You also order what level of spice you want for your bowl: No Spice, Mild, Medium, Hot, and Dragon Spice being the hottest.
I cannot recommend Nom Nom Noodles enough. The service is great, the food is fantastic, and it truly offers a uniquely flavorful and high-quality experience you could never get with bland store-bought noodles. If you ever find yourself in Bloomington looking for a quick bite to eat or just to take home, consider visiting Nom Nom Noodles.
