Christmas break is what everyone looks forward to all semester long. It’s a chance to take a break from school, relax, and have fun with friends and family. There are many festive activities to choose from, whether it is something cozy and chill or exciting and memorable. There is always something to make the break feel like it is flying by.
For those who enjoy a relaxing, warm night in, Christmas break is a great time to do so. You can bake cookies that make the house smell of warm cinnamon and sugar, build gingerbread houses, or curl up with a blanket to watch your favorite Christmas movies. Enjoy the simple things like reading a book by the fire or wrapping presents for your loved ones. Spend time with your family, host a movie night with friends, or just relax on your own after a stressful semester.
For those of you who love thrill and excitement, there are plenty of activities to do. For example, you and your friends can go sledding. But not just any old boring sledding! How about sledding with a car pulling you as you are flying through a field? Some students have done this and lived to tell. If you’re a moron with a death wish, give it a try. If you’re looking for something a little safer but still fun, you can try making the tallest snowman you possibly can, dig a cave in a snow bank, have a snowball fight, go ice skating, or even do a polar plunge (just try not to get frostbite).
No matter what you decide to do over break, the best part of your time off is spending it with the people you love and making fun memories. By filling your days with fun activities or just relaxing, you will finish the break feeling recharged and ready for a new semester.
